Relatable for introverted Millenials.
Another book in the realm of “comics I’ve seen reposted on social media made into book form.” Cassandra Calin writes and draws very relatable comics for a subset of readers, specifically introverted female Millenials. While I am 100% a female millennial, I didn’t relate to as many of these comics as I hoped simply because I am far more outgoing and extroverted compared to the character in these comics. Nothing wrong with that! Just a lot of comics along the same lines of not wanting to go outside and socialize and feeling awkward, with I don’t really relate to. I think in a singular comic form these are fun, but reading a whole book of them is sorta the same joke over and over. That being said I loved the simple art and themes, and her relationship with her boyfriend reminded me a lot o mine! Great gift book for your nerdy lady friends.
