Love Triangles abound!

Love this series! It’s silly fun with a great premise, and even though it feels like the story would get worn out after a while, the author keeps adding fun little side stories to make it interesting.

This volume involves a lot of over-the-top tennis playing, which is quite fun and expands upon the love triangle between Yor, Loid, and Nightfall. Nightfall is still hopelessly in love with Loid and is convinced he’s secretly complimenting and in love with her, whereas Loid is starting to believe that Yor might have feelings for him. The slow burn of the two of them realizing they’re falling for one another is adorbs, even with Nightfall acting like a crazy person. She’s a nice foil to Yor in that she’s braggy and intense, constantly thinking she’s better than Yor, only for Yor to destroy her while pretending to be shy and docile. It’s fun. Anya also has some fun in this volume, making friends and continuing her tumultuous relationship/friendship with Damien. All in all, this is a silly series that I really adore for how openly over the top it is.
