This series rules

Irene Adler rules.

This volume is mostly about Irene Adler and I am all about it. We get more information about some of the side characters, like Sherlock’s brother Mycroft, and it really sets up a showdown between man of the government, Mycroft, and the secret man on the inside, Moriarty. It’s fantastic. There’s so much in this volume that it’s hard to talk about without discussing all the spoilers that give away the fun!

Irene is the center of this volume as we learn more about her, how she came to become Irene Adler, and what her plan is. Everyone finds out that Irene has some document that she’s using to blackmail the Duke of Wales and the entire volume is about the different groups making plans to get it from her. Her relationship with Sherlock in this is wonderful, he’s a bit smitten with her, just like in the novels, and it comes across very well and in an amusing fashion in this volume. I love Albert and he got some real moments to shine in this. Why is this series so addictive?! I want this to be a whole animated series it’s so damn fun.
