Hilarious!

Revenge of the Librarians is an Eisner Award Winning Graphic Novel that I hadn’t heard about until this lovely book was gifted to me by my husband! He knows I love graphic novels and anything involving my profession and figured this book was the perfect combination. He was entirely right!

If you have a librarian in your life, this is a fantastic gift! This book covers COVID and how it changed library services and stressed us librarians out more than anything we’d experienced before. The comics included are so true to life and what being a librarian is like, and it has many inside jokes regarding our jobs and literature as a whole. I found myself chuckling out loud several times while reading, and it’s an easy and relatively quick book to get through as all the comics are simple, four-panel illustrations. I get why this won an Eisner, and it made my day to read it. I absolutely would recommend this to any book or library lover in your life.
