This series is addicting!
This series continues to be insanely gripping and interesting! Every volume ups the stakes and reminds me that despite how the characters are presented, they often have a secret motive or backstory I never saw coming. In this volume, Kirishima and Yoshino go to Osaka for a visit. Yoshino is on her home turf here and is becoming more and more aware of the seedy world around her. Shiota Nao plays a big role in this volume, and her inclusion in the story adds another layer of darkness to this already pretty dark story. Yoshino remains a bad bitch, and I love her so much. Also, we got more Shouma in this, so I am pleased. The one thing that always makes me laugh about this series, however, is the fact that they characters are supposed to be roughly seventeen. This manga makes Euphoria look like a Disney Channel show sometimes, which adds to the ridiculousness of it all. The ones going around being super manipulative and murderous are SEVENTEEN. When I was 17, I was trying to get a date for prom, not taking out international smugglers and dealers, but hey. Gotta love manga.
